Dr. Brooke Schneider is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist practicing integrative psychiatry in Fort Collins, Colorado. Dr. Brooke is also the co-creator of Women Strong, an online women's wellness program that covers the foundations of health through lessons, daily challenges, expert interviews, and a supportive community. Women Strong is all about empowerment, education, and connection! Dr. Brooke is passionate about decreasing mental health stigma and providing tools to increase ease and self-compassion along the health and wellness journey. Dr. Brooke’s superpower is HAVING FUN! Some people have called her a non-psychiatrist psychiatrist, largely due to her playful, loving, and big personality (and equally big smile)! She has a huge and sensitive heart, and loves being with people and connecting through our stories, unique gifts, and shared human experiences. You can always count on Dr. Brooke to laugh with you, to cry with you, to love you unconditionally, and to be kind and generous.
Dr. Mary Rondeau, ND, RH(AHG) is a registered naturopathic doctor, functional medicine specialist and registered herbalist. She co-founded Wholeness Center, which is the most innovative integrative mental health center in the U.S. based in Fort Collins, CO. She is passionate about empowering individuals through self-care, self-understanding and learning how to support body, mind and spirit to relieve chronic and mental illness. Dr. Mary specializes in functional medicine for mental health disorders. Dr. Mary's middle name is adventure; she's found that what follows adventure is growth. Personal growth to overcome challenges, to face fears, to prove to oneself that you can do anything you put energy into. Dr. Mary is excited to share this knowledge in the form of self-care, self-exploration, and community with like-minded individuals.
Jenn and Nate are the founders and co-creators of Avail Divorce. Both Jenn and Nate are excited to share their knowledge about life transitions, self-care and the magic of new beginnings with divorced and non-divorced retreat participants. They are both Certified Divorce Coaches (CDC®) and Certified Divorce Specialists (CDS™). Their workshops will focus on personal growth and transformation through challenge, rewriting our stories with purpose, and creating vibrant next life chapters. Jenn has previously led hundreds of people on experiential, transformational travel experiences around the world, specifically in Latin America. She speaks fluent Spanish and spent 4 years living and working in Nicaragua. This will be her third time leading a group at Coco Loco Eco Resort. Jenn loves dancing to live music, practicing sweaty yoga, and traveling the world. Nate is an expert coach, an entrepreneur, and a co-parenting dad of two teenagers. Nate loves playing hockey, finger picking music on his guitar, and taking walks with his rescue dog, Rigsby.
Sifu Dean Keller MSOM, L.Ac. is the founder of Ssu Tao Pai Gong Fa (Great Way Martial Arts) and Quantum Healing Energy. He began traveling to China and throughout the U.S. in the late 80’s to study with Master Wang Peisheng, Daniel K. Pai and Share K. Lew to learn their martial arts and advanced internal energy systems. He is passionate about sharing the Taoist Meditations, Tai Chi & Qi Gong due to the profound effects they are known to have on body, mind and spirit. As an acupuncturist and herbalist, he strives to bring the same Taoist approach to his clinic to not just treat symptoms but treat the root cause of illnesses. When he isn’t chasing his four kids (they are all a little older now, so not so much chasing), you can find him speaking Spanish to his spicy Beta fish, Señor Pantolones del Fuego.
Coco Loco rests on a 6-acre Pacific oceanfront property located in a tranquil, friendly town in Northern Nicaragua. The resort offers simple but comfortable beach cabanas and oceanfront rooms. The beautifully reforested grounds include a large restaurant and pool area and a new, open air, tiki-style yoga platform.
